Date: April 1, 2014 (It's no fool!)
Place: Red Rock Canyon State Park, CA
Color showed more red when we get closer to the park!
Directions: CA-18, approximately 50 miles north of Lancaster,
between CA-58 and US-395. Nothing can go wrong, trust me!
Red Cliffs.
Looks like we were the only visitor, keeping the whole place ourselves!
Heading the Red Rock Canyon.
Visitor Center closed during the Winter, but Spring began 3/21.
Is this part of the April fools joke?? Not funny!!
Starting here it is the camping ground, more grey (white) rocks.
How nice it could be camping, dining and watching stars here!
Back to the Red Rock Canyon!
This is actually on the left side of the entrance.
Most famous rock (signature of the park), I call it "banana nut muffin".
18-wheeler became "match box".
This is the youngest one, she is the only one would follow me, exploring the wilderness, climbing mountains, and shooting with camera.
Youngest daughter is moving to the next chapter of her life -- college.
We both are doing our best to seize the moment.
What a wonderful day! It rained the day before and after, and gave me the perfect weather of photo shooting. A few white clouds made blue sky better .
